Ahoy, Class of 1986!
We’re charting the course for our milestone reunion— 40 years since our time at Fort Schuyler. While the years have taken us far and wide, the friendships, sea stories, and Maritime pride that connect us remain strong. This reunion weekend is our chance to reconnect, reflect on our shared journey, and create new memories together. From the Ancient Mariner Golf Outing, to tailgates, NYC yacht cruise, dinner, and more, we’re making this a celebration worthy of our legacy. Let’s raise a glass, rekindle old friendships, and welcome ourselves home—together.

History
The Class of 1986 entered Fort Schuyler in the fall of 1982. Our years at Maritime were shaped by the rigors of regimental life, challenging academics, summer sea terms, and friendships forged on campus and at sea.
Beyond the Fort, it was the era of MTV, with Michael Jackson, Madonna, Prince, and Duran Duran providing the soundtrack. John Hughes films like *Sixteen Candles*, *The Breakfast Club*, and *Ferris Bueller’s Day Off* captured the humor, growing pains, and rebellious spirit of our generation—although skipping a day at Maritime took considerably more planning, and getting caught carried far greater consequences.
As we celebrate our 40th reunion, we look back on the experiences that tested us, the careers and lives we’ve built, and the classmates who became lifelong friends. Forty years later, those shared stories—and a familiar ’80s song—can bring us right back to Fort Schuyler.
