History
The Class of 1965 stands as a proud chapter in the story of SUNY Maritime College. We entered Fort Schuyler during a period of profound change, both at home and abroad. Our years at the college forged bonds of brotherhood, instilled a deep sense of duty, and equipped us with the skills to lead, innovate, and serve. From the rigors of regimental life to the challenges of our first sea voyages, our time at Maritime was marked by perseverance, discipline, and a shared commitment to excellence.
As we gather to commemorate six decades since our graduation, we honor not just our individual journeys but also the collective spirit that has defined our class. We celebrate the captains, engineers, business leaders, and innovators we have become, and we proudly reflect on our enduring impact on the maritime industry and beyond.
